Welcome to the S.O.S. Page!
This page describes the Selfish Operating System. Most people buy a computer and the computer calls itself 'My Computer'. And it has your files... in 'My Documents'. All the 'My Computer' wants to do is go out to the internet and look at others files. "I won't show you mine if you show me yours" the selfish operating system says to itself.
And then comes the musically inclined user of the operating system using a downloading program to give shock to the otherwise selfish operating system. "I didn't know that there was signs of intelligent life outside of this beige box." says the hardware to the operating system. The only part of the selfish operating system can say is...but those icons are so pretty against my own little desktop...Just as long as they continue to brush my pretty little icons. I expect those icons to start dancing the dance of the icon fairy one of these days...
Meanwhile the Logical Operating System says, "Hey buddy you've listened to this file a hundred times today...don't you realize you're wearing me out?" And...can't you do this calculation in your head...I've been around for thirty years and still can't figure out why you keep trying to get different numbers as a result because you keep giving me the same information to compute day in and day out. "Do you expect me to replace the education system or something?"
What we have here is a failure to compile.
